I would like to say thank you to all of
those that participated in the work/training day at Percy Priest. Twelve
members came from all corners of the chapter for a very productive workday
with a little training at the end. The work was complete by 10:30,
afterwards there was a meeting of the TFTRA (Tennessee Field Trialers
Association). Jim Seeley and Jeff Parks have held the fort for many years in
order for us to have a voice at the TFTRA as well as participated at the
annual work day. Next time you see them make certain to tell them thank you.
Jim will let us know of next years work day date date when it is available
and we will post it on our calendar.
Currently there are 3 training days scheduled for the remainder of the
Summer. I hope that you can make it to one or you could opt to host one in
your area. For information on hosting a training day contact your SEHC state
representative. Our goal is to host training days in each state, how can you
help?
Ana Barrios Sosa (South Carolina State Representative) will be heading a
move towards more organized and structured training days. Ana is recently
back from a 6 month stay in Switzerland where she took the opportunity to
travel to Germany and train with Frank and Steffi Wagner. The move towards
more structured training is a product of her experience in Germany. Ana also
has a multi-page article on her experience forthcoming.
Best Regards,
Forrest
